Dr. Barry Beilinsohn qualified as a dentist in 1988 from the University of Stellenbosch Dental School. After completing his military service, he joined his father, Dr. Maurice Beilinsohn. In private practice, they worked together for twenty years, establishing a strong foundation in patient-centered care. Building on this experience, Dr. Beilinsohn later expanded the practice with a new location in Sea Point, which remains our flagship practice today, just ten minutes from the V&A Waterfront and Green Point.
Dr. Beilinsohn’s professional interests span preventive, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry, with a particular focus on aesthetic dental makeovers. His expertise in cosmetic dentistry includes teeth whitening, porcelain crowns and bridges, veneers, inlays, metal-free tooth-colored fillings, dental implants, and a wide range of removable and implant-supported denture solutions. Advanced periodontal, maxillofacial, and complex implant cases are managed in collaboration with leading specialists in Cape Town.
A dedicated member of the South African Dental Association (SADA) for over 38 years, Dr. Beilinsohn currently serves as President of SADA Western Cape, previously held the position from 2010 to 2011, serves as a National Councillor, and is the Chairperson of the Dentistry Development Trust. He is currently serving as the President of SADA Dental WC Branch for 2025-2026.

Dr Nigel Govindasami qualified as a dentist in 2012 from the University of the Western Cape. Originally from Durban, he established and successfully ran a private practice on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast for four years. In 2018, Dr Govindasami and his wife relocated to the Western Cape, fulfilling their long-standing goal of living and practising in Cape Town.
Dr Govindasami enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular focus on preventative and minimally invasive dentistry. His key clinical interests include endodontic treatment (root canal treatment) and aesthetic smile correction. He is committed to continuous professional development and regularly attends advanced training courses to ensure he delivers the highest standard of care using the latest techniques.
In addition to his Bachelor of Dental Science and Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr Govindasami holds further certifications in Inman Aligner, Digital Smile Design, Minimally Invasive Dentistry, Functional Smile Analysis, Invisalign and Comprehensive Endodontics.
He is a registered member of the South African Dental Association (SADA) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
